Objective To explore the pathological features of abnormal uterine bleeding（AUB）in peri-menopausal period.Method The study chose 371 cases of AUB patients diagnosed in the Gynecology Department of Changyuan People’s Hospital to conduct a retrospective analysis of the clinical features and pathological data.Results The pathological types of endometrial biopsy of 371 cases are:124cases of normal endometrium（33.42%）

215 cases of endometrial benign lesions（57.96%）

16 cases of chronic endometritis（4.31%）

11 cases of atrophic endometrium（2.96%）and 5cases of malignant tumors（1.35%）.The rates of chronic endometritis

atypical hyperplasia and malignant tumors for patients at the age of 51 to 55 were respectively10.59%

11.75%and 3.53%

higher than patients at the age of 40 to 45and 46 to 50

and the differences were statistically significant（P<0.05）.Conclusion The Pathological types of endometrial biopsy in AUB patients are mainly normal and benign lesion

however

malignant tumors and chronic endometritis were also found and can’t be ignored

the incidences of these two types increase with patients’age.
