Objective To understand the relationship between university graduates’emotional intelligence and vocational adaptation.Method Adopted questionnaires of university students’emotional intelligence and vocational adaptation to investigate 296 graduates in 3 universities of Baotou.Results The total scores of emotional intelligence and other factors showed positive relationship with vocational adaptation（P<0.05）except the emotional intelligence element of self-anticipation.Multiple regression analysis presented that those main influence factors of vocational adaptation including self-regulation
