Objective To research the clinical application of posterior minimally invasive mini-incision staging technology to scoliosis orthopedics.Method To select 120patients of scoliosis orthopedics who have visited the Hospital of Uygur Medicine of Aksu District from March 2009to March 2012

and divide them into experiment group and comparison group at random each having 60patients.The former received surgeries by means of the posterior minimally invasive mini-incision staging technology

while the latter were operated upon with traditional incision technology.The clinical effects of scoliosis orthopedics and occurrences of the various parameters of the surgeries and complications of the two surgical methods were compared.Results The overall rate of effectuality of the experiment group was 93.3%

which was superior to that of the comparison group at83.3%（χ2=4.201

P<0.05）.The experiment group was also markedly superior to the comparison group in terms of the factors such as the length of surgery

amount of bleeding

duration of hospitalization

and the incidence rate of complications（P<0.05）.Conclusion The posterior minimally invasive mini-incision staging technology is patently superior to the traditional incision technology in the area of scoliosis orthopedics

and has a high value in clinical applications.
