Objective To investigate the effect of acupoint catgut-embedding therapy on nulliparous women with primary dysmenorrhea.Method 65cases of patients with primary dysmenorrhea revceived in our department from November 2012to November 2013were randomly divided into the experimental and control groups. The experimental group were given catgut-embedding therapy at the acupoints of guanyuan

uterus and sanyinjiao before their menstruation

the control group were taken conventional medication treatment and the effects were compared in both groups.Results The effect of the experimental group was significantly better than that of the control group（P<0.05）.Conclusion The treatment of minimally invasive acupoint catgut-embedding therapy for nulliparous women with primary dysmenorrhea is safe and effective

its compliance is high and it is worthy of clinical promotion.
