Objective To look into changes of acceptance level in freshmen before and after admissions as well as places

activities and personnel influencing their affection to university so as to explore an approach to nurture affection to university among university students.Method A survey on relevant situations of affection to university was conducted for 470freshmen from 5colleges of Inner Mongolia Agricultural University using the self-prepared questionnaire

and the result was statistically analyzed.Results Acceptance level of freshmen for their own university after admission was reduced.Acceptance level of freshmen for dormitory

management

teaching

individual study

student cadre and teacher in student affairs office was positively correlated with their acceptance level of the university.Conclusion Places

activities and leaders taking charge of student affairs at the university are important factors influencing affection to university among freshmen.Comprehensive measures shall be taken to nurture affection to university among freshmen

which plays a promotional role in improving mental quality of students.
