Objective To probe into the curative effect of external therapeutic method of traditional Chinese medicine combined with polyzyme tablets in treating pediatric anorexia.Method 180cases of children with anorexia age 1to 6were randomly divided into experimental group and control group with 90cases in each group.Children in the experimental group received external therapeutic method of traditional Chinese medicine combined with polyzyme tablet on the basis of instructing reasonable feeding and correcting the fussy habit about the food

while children in the control group were only given oral polyzyme tablets.Results Total effective rate of the experimental group was 95.6%while that of the control group was 86.6%

and differences between the two groups were statistically significant（p<0.05）.Zinc level in serum of children in the experimental group after treatment was obviously higher than that before treatment

and thickness of subcutaneous fat was remarkably increased compared with that before treatment

and the differences were statistically significant（p<0.05）.Zinc level in serum and thickness of subcutaneous fat of children in the control group had no remarkable change before and after treatment.Conclusion External therapeutic method of traditional Chinese medicine combined with polyzyme tablets has obvious effects in treating pediatric anorexia

which is worth promoting in clinic.
