Objective To have knowledge about the college students’ demand for form and content of health education nowadays so as to provide reference for promoting effective health education.Method College students were surveyed with questionnaire and the received questionnaires were statistically analyzed.Results The top three means frequently used by college students to acquire health education knowledge were newspapers and magazines

relevant books

radio and television with a respective percentage of 65.50%

54.63% and 49.40%;carrying out health education in the form of special lecture was more popular among colleges students

accounting for 50.87% of the surveyed objects

followed by network and radio

blackboard newspaper

compulsory courses or elective courses;college students expected contents such as modern health concept

healthy lifestyle

emergency self-help and mutual aid

reproduction and sex education more.Conclusion College students have universal demands and concerns for health education.The form and content of health education for college students should keep abreast with the social development which should be improved

enriched and expanded gradually.
