Objective To discuss the correlation between fatty liver and gall-stone.Method The detection result of fatty liver and gall-stone for 4581 faculty members above 40 who had made their health examination in our hospital in 2007
2008
2009 and 2010 were statistically analyzed.Results From 2007 to 2010
the detection rate of fatty liver was 25.4%
26.40%
24.78%
21.88% respectively
and the detection rate of gall-stone was 8.94%
9.26%
8.94%
and 7.71%.There was no statistical difference between the detection rate of fatty liver for male and female in 2009 and 2010(P>0.05);From 2007 to 2010
the detection rate of gall-stone in the group with fatty liver was higher than that in the group without fatty liver
and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).Conclusion The middle-aged and aged faculty members in universities have a high detection rate of fatty liver
there is no gender distinction between the detection rate of fatty liver
and the patients with fatty liver have a high morbidity rate for gall-stone.
