Objective To find out the health conditions of neighborhood committee workers

and to provide basis for effective measures towards health care.Method 274 neighborhood committee workers received health check-ups and the results were analyzed.Results Diseases or abnormal health conditions were detected in 233 out of 274 workers being examined.The detection rate is 85.04%;the top 4 diseases detected were hyperlipidemia

hypertension

high blood sugar and fatty liver.Detection rate of male was higher than that of female in hyperlipidemia

high blood sugar and fatty liver;detection rate of hypertension and high blood sugar rose with the age.Conclusion Health conditions of neighborhood committee workers are not optimistic.We should emphasize the prevention and treatment of diseases of these workers esp.those more than 30 years old and male workers.
