Objective To investigate the characteristics of career maturity of five-year junior college students.Method Career Maturity Scale was administered to 350 five-year junior college students and 370 three-year junior college students.The findings were statistically analyzed.Results Students with different characteristics

didn’t have different degrees of career maturity which was statistically insignificant（P>0.05）.There were significant differences on the career maturity of five-year junior college students with different educational levels of father（F=2.109

P<0.05）.There were significant differences on the career maturity between five-year junior college students and three-year junior college students（P<0.05）.Conclusions Educational level of father affects the career maturity of five-year junior college students.Career maturity of five-year junior college students is lower compared with three-year junior college students.
