Objective To explore influential factors on Internet Addiction Disorder（IAD） among college students and to provide scientific basis for IAD prevention and control.Method 803 college students aged from 18 to 25 in Nanjing were recruited to participate in the present study by use of cluster sampling method.Questionnaire was used in fields to investigate influential factors on IAD.Results The internet addiction rate was 10.6%.The rates of boys and girls wene 19.2% and 4.0% respectively

and the difference between them was significant（χ2=45.779

p<0.01）.There was a significant difference between different grades（χ2=24.659

p<0.01）.Logistic regression analysis indicated that IAD was correlated with sex

online with skipping classes.Conclusion The excessive use of the internet has been a notable problem in these students.Some effective measures should be taken immediately to deal with it.
