Objective To find out the Hepatitis B Vaccination condition and HBV carried condition of the freshmen in vocational schools

for the prevention of HBV.Method One vocational school’s 2 432 freshmen in 2007 were asked to do a questionnaire about HBV condition

meanwhile

their serum HBsAg and Anti-HBs was tested by ELISA

all these results were analyzed statistically.Results 72.00% of the freshmen have been vaccinated against Hepatitis B.The vaccination rate of the students from the city is higher than those from the country（p<0.05）.The vaccination rate of female is higher than male（p<0.05）.57 people show positive HBs

the positive rate is 2.34%.The HBsAg positive rate of male is 5.34% while the rate of female is 1.06%（p<0.05）.The HBsAg positive rate of the students from the country is 3.28% while the rate of the students from the city is 0.68%（p<0.05）.Anti-HBs positive rate is 74.38%.The Anti-HBs positive rate of female is 85.83% which is much higher than that of male

47.74%（p<0.05）.The Anti-HBs positive rate of the students from the city is 92.80% which is much higher than that of those from the county

64.00%（p<0.05）.Conclusion Freshmen of vocational schools need to be paid attention to Hepatitis B vaccination

the students whose Anti-HBs is negative are the key precautionary ones especially male students come from the country

and Hepatitis B vaccinate is an effective way to prevent Hepatitis B.
