Objective The goal of this research is to investigate the attitude of the contemporary university students to the South Korean soap opera

and to analyze the reason

so as to provide references for the domestic opera.Method Using a questionnaire designed by ourselves

this questionnaire focuses three dimensions:cognition

emotion

behavior tendentiousness

which have been proved having good reliability and validity by the results of factor-analysis.Results The average value of cognition dimension of this attitude is 3.41

the average value of emotion dimension is 3.26

and the average value of behavior tendentiousness dimension is 2.87

and the total average value is 3.24.Analysis of variance results show:the attitude scores of art students are higher than those of other professions remarkably;girls’ attitude scores are higher than boys’ remarkably;girls of art students have the highest scores.Conclusion The contemporary university students have been influenced variously by the South Korean soap opera

but generally speaking they have extremely objective manner.
