Primary aldosteronism，also known as PA，is characterized by autonomous overproduction of aldosterone in the adrenal cortex，leading to a series of pathophysiological changes and subsequent secondary hypertension and cardiovascular complications. Due to the high prevalence，low screening rate and serious cardiovascular damage，both domestic and international consensus emphasize the prevention of target organ damage and reduction of complications as the main therapeutic goals. Early identification and appropriate in⁃ tervention of cardiovascular damage in patients with primary aldosteronism are of great value to improve the cardiovascular prognosis. This article focused on the progress of research and comprehensive intervention of cardiovascular complications in patients with primary aldosteronism，with the aim of providing guidance for early identification and management of cardiovascular complications in these pa⁃ tients，and thus improving long-term prognosis.
