Pancreatic cancer has become a global health concern due to its consistently increasing in case numbers and rising mortality rates worldwide. Pancreatic cancer’s poor prognosis is correlated with the prevalent tumoral heterogeneity of pancreatic tumors. At present，few precision diagnosis and treatment methods have been developed to counter this disease. This article summarized the diagnosis and stage-based treatment of pancreatic cancer，reviewed the recent studies on subtyping methods for pancreatic cancer， and analyzed their application and shortcomings in precise individualized treatments for clinical reference.
