Objective To evaluate the effect of the implementation of the traditional Chinese medicine nursing scheme for knee osteoarthritis by "syndrome collection". Methods 120 cases of patients with knee osteoarthritis admitted to the Department of Orthopedics，the Affiliated Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine，Southwest Medical University were randomly divided into the experimental group and the control group， with 60 cases in each group. The control group was given routine nursing，while the experimental group was given the traditional Chinese medicine nursing plan with syndrome collection method，and the efficacy of the two groups was compared. Results After 2 weeks of intervention，the scores of joint function and pain in experimental group were lower than that in the control group (P＜0.05）. The clinical efficacy of the experimental group was higher than the control group (P＜0.05). Conclusion The implementation of the TCM nursing scheme for knee osteoarthritis by "syndrome collection"，which was carried out according to the person and the disease，showed significant effects .
