Clinical application of uniportal video-assisted thoracoscopic in right upper segmentectomy
Objective To analyze the clinical application of uniportal thoracoscopy in right upper segmentectomy. Methods The clinical data of 16 patients who underwent uniportal thoracoscopic right upper segmentectomy from January to June 2021 were retrospectively reviewed. There were 7 males and 9 females with a median age of 52.5(36~68)years. All patients underwent the 5th intercostal incision at the posterior axillary line. Results There were no conversion to multi-portal procedure or thoracotomy. The median operation time was 145(80~205)min,median intraoperative blood loss was 50(20~150)mL,median drainage time was 3(3~12) d,and median postoperative hospital stay was 4(4~8)d. Postoperative pathological diagnosis was adenocarcinoma. Postoperative complications occurred in 1 case. There was no perioperative mortality. Conclusion Uniportal video-assisted thoracoscopic segmentectomy of right upper lung is safe and feasible.
