With the continuous deepening of the research on Xuanfu theory，it is more frequent for modern doctors in clinical departments to apply such theory in disease prevention and treatment，and such theory is also used in the treatment of beauty-damaging diseases. However，since beauty-damaging diseases cover an extensive range of diseases，there is no uniform standard for treatment and it is impossible to develop a definite efficacy evalu⁃ation system. By analyzing ancient literature，this article finds the association between Xuanfu closure and beau⁃ty-damaging diseases and then elaborates on the treatment of beauty-damaging diseases based on Xuanfu theory and the application of this theory in traditional Chinese medicine cosmetics，so as to provide new ideas for the treat⁃ment of beauty-damaging diseases.
