Research advances in intestinal probiotics in the treatment of psoriasis
Psoriasis is a chronic inflammatory skin disease characterized by red papules or plaques covered with layers of silvery scales, with frequent recurrence and difficulties in radical treatment. Studies have shown that skin and gut microbiota are closely associated with psoriasis. Probiotics can prevent and treat psoriasis by regulating gut microbiota, enhancing gut function, and thus reducing systemic inflammatory response. This article expounds the association of the intestinal tract and skin microorganisms with psoriasis and the mechanism and effect of probiot⁃ics in the treatment of psoriasis,so as to explore the potential of probiotics in the prevention and treatment of psoria⁃sis and provide new ideas for the clinical treatment of psoriasis.
