OBJECTIVE: To probe into the clinical efficacy of Jiawei Xiaosui Huahe decoction combined with acupuncture method of Canggui Tanxue in the treatment of lumbar disc herniation（LDH） with Qi stagnation and blood stasis syndrome. METHODS: A total of 100 LDH patients with Qi stagnation and blood stasis syndrome admitted into the hospital from Feb. 2020 to Jan. 2022 were randomly divided into the control group（n=50） and the observation group（n=50）. The control group was given oral Jiawei Xiaosui Huahe decoction

while the observation group received oral Jiawei Xiaosui Huahe decoction combined with acupuncture method of Canggui Tanxue. The clinical efficacy

the differences were statistically significant（P<0.05）. CONCLUSIONS: The efficacy of Jiawei Xiaosui Huahe decoction combined with acupuncture method of Canggui Tanxue in the treatment of LDH with Qi stagnation and blood stasis syndrome is significant

which can significantly improve the symptoms of back and leg pain and lumbar dysfunction

and reduce inflammatory reaction.
