Effects of Wenfei Zhike Pingchuan Recipe Combined with Albuterol Nebulized Inhalation on Allergen IgE Level,Airway Remodeling and Asthma Control Level in Children with Bronchial Asthma
OBJECTIVE: To explore the effects of Wenfei Zhike Pingchuan recipe combined with albuterol nebulized inhalation on allergen IgE level
airway remodeling and asthma control level in children with bronchial asthma. METHODS: A total of 52 children with bronchial asthma who were treated with Wenfei Zhike Pingchuan recipe combined with albuterol nebulized inhalation in this hospital from Feb. 2019 to Feb. 2020 were selected as the observation group. And 52 children with bronchial asthma treated with albuterol nebulized inhalation were selected as the control group. Clinical efficacy
total bronchial wall area(Wat)] and asthma control test(ACT) score before and after treatment were compared between two groups. Allergen IgE
airway remodeling indicator and asthma control level were evaluated by random walking model. RESULTS: There was no statistically significant difference in traditional Chinese medicine syndromes scores such as nasal congestion
pharyngeal itching
cough and shortness of breath
allergen IgE
Wai
Wam and Wat levels and ACT scores between two groups before treatment(P>0.05). After treatment
the traditional Chinese medicine syndromes scores
allergen IgE levels and airway remodeling indicators in two groups were significantly lower than those before treatment
while ACT scores were significantly higher. The total effective rate and ACT score of the observation group after treatment were significantly higher than those of the control group
and the traditional Chinese medicine syndromes scores
allergen IgE levels and airway remodeling indicators were significantly lower than those of the control group
the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05). The evaluation results of random walking model showed that the improvement of allergen IgE
Wai
Wam
Wat and ACT scores in the observation group was better than that in the control group. CONCLUSIONS: Wenfei Zhike Pingchuan recipe combined with albuterol nebulized inhalation can significantly improve the allergen IgE
airway remodeling indicator and asthma control level in children with bronchial asthma
and significantly improve the total effective rate of treatment.
