Evaluation on Application Rationality of Antibiotics in Patients with Acute Pancreatitis Based on Weighted TOPSIS Method
Abstract
OBJECTIVE: To establish the evaluation rules for the application rationality of antibiotics in patients with acute pancreatitis( AP)
so as to evaluate the rationality of clinical practice of antibiotics in patients with AP.METHODS: Based on technical documents such as Guidelines for the Clinical Application of Antibiotics( 2015 Edition)
Guidelines for the Diagnosis and Treatment of Acute Pancreatitis in China( 2019
Shenyang)
Expert Consensus on Clinical Application of Carbapenems and Detailed Rules for the Evaluation of the Clinical Application of Carbapenems
and according to the drug instructions of each antibiotics
the evaluation rules of clinical application rationality of antibiotics for patients with AP were formulated. The weighted technique for order preference by similarity to solution( TOPSIS) method was used to evaluate the application rationality of antibiotics in 225 patients with AP from Anqing First People’s Hospital of Anhui Province( hereinafter referred to as the "hospital") from Jan. 2019 to Dec.2020. The relative closeness( Ci) of each case to the ideal solution was counted. RESULTS: The irrational application of antibiotics in patients with AP mainly focused on the improper selection of antibiotics
irrational usage and dosage
and improper treatment course. Among the 225 patients with AP
53 cases( 23. 56%) had Ci of 100%
4 cases( 1. 78%) had Ci of 80%-<100%
141 cases( 62. 67%) had Ci of 60%-<80%
and 27 cases( 12. 00%) had Ci< 60%. CONCLUSIONS: The weighted TOPSIS method is used to evaluate the application of antibiotics in patients with AP
and it is found that the application of antibiotics in patients with AP in the hospital is basically rational
yet there are still irrational problems in drug selection
