Evaluation of Application Rationality of Cefixime in Outpatient and Emergency Department Based on the Weighted Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to An Ideal Solution
OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the application rationality of cefixime in outpatient and emergency department of a grade Ⅲ
level A hospital(hereinafter referred to as " the hospital").METHODS:According to cefixime instructions and Guidelines for Clinical Application of Antibiotics(2015 Edition)
Management Standards for Hospital Prescription Review(Trial) and related literature
the evaluation indicators
evaluation content and evaluation criteria for the rational applic:ation of cefixime were established.Application rationality of cefoxime in 507 prescriptions with cefixime in outpatient and emergency department of the hospital from Oct.to Nov.2019 was evaluated by weighted preference by similarity to an Ideal solution(TOPSIS).RESULTS:Of the 507 prescriptions with cefixime
there were 127 prescriptions(25.0%) with a degree of closeness(C-) of 1 to the optimal plan
there were5 prescriptions(1.0%) within the C
