Analysis on Application of Traditional Chinese Medicine Injections in A Grade Ⅲ Level A Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine During 2016-2019
OBJECTIVE: To investigate the application of traditional Chinese medicine( TCM) injection in a gradeⅢ level A hospital of traditional Chinese medicine( hereinafter referred to as"this hospital")
to probe into the effect of zero-price difference policy for drugs on the application of TCM injection in this hospital since 2017
so as to provide references for clinical rational drug application. METHODS: Data of categories
quantity and consumption sum of TCM injection in this hospital during 2016-2019 were extracted from Hospital Information System
Excel was adopted to calculate and analyze the defined daily dose system( DDDs)
defined daily cost( DDC) and ratio of sequence of consumption sum( B)/sequence of DDDs( A). RESULTS: After the implementation of zero-price difference policy for drugs
the consumption sum of TCM injection in this hospital had decreased
although it had increased slightly in 2018 due to the increase of the varieties of TCM injections
but the consumption sum of TCM injections in this hospital showed an overall decreasing trend during 2016-2019. Regardless of the consumption sum or DDDs
the top 3 TCM injections were antineoplastics
blood-activating and stasis-removing
qi-tonifying and body-strengthen. The DDC of Xiaoaiping injection had ranked in top 2 for continuous 4 years
with the B/A was < 0. 5; the DDDs of Xueshuantong for injection( lyophilized) had ranked in top 2 for continuous 4 years
with the B/A was > 1. 5; the B/A of most TCM injection were in the range of 0. 5-1. 5. CONCLUSIONS: The application of TCM injection in this hospital is basically rational
while it is still necessary to strengthen clinical application supervision and intervention
avoid irrational application of Xiaoaiping injection
and comprehensively promote safe and effective application of TCM injections.
