Clinical Study of Ginkgolides Sodium Chloride Injection Combined with Butylphthalide in the Treatment of Acute Progressive Stroke
OBJECTIVE: To probe into the clinical effects of ginkgolides sodium chloride injection combined with butylphthalide in the treatment of acute progressive stroke. METHODS: Totally 82 patients with acute progressive stroke admitted into neurology department of Lianyungang Hospital Affiliated to Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine from Oct. 2017 to Sept. 2019 were extracted to be divided into the control group and the observation group via the random number table
with 41 cases in each group. The control group was given butylphthalide
while the observation group additionally received ginkgolides sodium chloride injection based on the control group. The clinical efficacy
differences of neurological improvement [National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) score ]
coagulation function indicators [fibrinogen (FIB)
prothrombin time (PT) and thrombin time (TT) ] levels
homocysteine (HCY) and D-dimer levels before and after treatment were compared. Patients were followed up for two months to evaluate the prognosis. RESULTS: Before treatment
there was no significant difference in NIHSS score
coagulation function indicators
HCY and D-dimer levels between two groups (P>0. 05). After treatment
the NIHSS score in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group
and the difference was statistically significant (P<0. 05).The total effective rate of the observation group was 90. 24% (37/41)
significantly higher than that of the control group 73. 17% (30/41)
and the difference was statistically significant (P<0. 05). After treatment
the level of FIB in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group
and the levels of PT and TT were significantly shorter than those in the control group
the difference was statistically significant (P<0. 05). After treatment
the levels of HCY and D-dimer in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group
and the differences were statistically significant (P < 0. 05). The good prognosis rate of patients in the observation group was 75. 61% (31/41)
significantly higher than that of the control group 53. 66% (22/41)
and the difference was statistically significant (P<0. 05). CONCLUSIONS: Ginkgolides sodium chloride injection combined with butylphthalide is effective in the treatment of acute progressive stroke
which can reducing the neurological injury and improving the prognosis.
