Research on Drug Resistance, Risk Factors and Efficacy of Drug Combination of Fluoroquinolones in Patients with Pulmonary Tuberculosis
risk factors and efficacy of drug combination of fluoroquinolones in patients with pulmonary tuberculosis. METHODS: Totally 130 patients with pulmonary tuberculosis admitted into Haikou Hospital Affiliated to Xiangya School of Medicine of CSU from Jan. 2017 to Jan. 2019 were selected and divided into initial resistance group (60 cases) and acquired resistance group (70 cases) according to whether they had undergone anti-tuberculosis treatment and the resistance of tuberculosis bacteria to anti-tuberculosis drugs
drug resistance of tuberculosis patients was analyzed through drug susceptibility test
meanwhile
Logistic analysis was adopted to analyze the risk factors of drug resistance. At the same time
all the 130 patients were divided into observation group and control group via random number table
with 65 cases in each group; the control group was given antitubercular agent
while the observation group was given levofloxacin based on the control group; the negative conversion ratio of sputum bacterium
lesion
cavity and comprehensive efficacy of both groups were observed.RESULTS: The single drug resistance and multi drug resistance rates of initial resistance group were significantly lower than those of the acquired resistance group
with statistically significant differences (P < 0. 05). The drug resistance rates of patients in acquired resistance group to streptomycin and rifampicin were significantly higher than those of initial resistance group
with statistically significant differences (P < 0. 05). Results of multifactor logistic regression analysis indicated family income
number of treatment
smoking history and drug combination were the risk factors that affected the drug resistance of tuberculosis patients. At 12 months and 18 months after treatment
the negative conversion rate of sputum bacterium of observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group; at 18 months after treatment
the lesion absorption rate
cavity reduction rate and total effective rate of observation group were significantly higher than those of the control group
with statistically significant differences (P < 0. 05).CONCLUSIONS: Timely drug susceptibility testing for tuberculosis patients
formulating rationalized treatment plan and conducting regular treatment for patients to prevent the production of drug-resistant bacteria
the drug combination of fluoroquinolones can reduce the positive rate of Mycobacterium tuberculosis in sputum
