Efficacy of Rifampicin Capsule( Ⅱ ) in the Treatment of Tuberculosis and its Effects on Imageological Changes
OBJECTIVE: To probe into the clinical efficacy of rifampicin capsule( Ⅱ) in the treatment of tuberculosis and its effects on imageological changes. METHODS: A total of 130 patients with tuberculosis admitted into Hebei Provincial Chest Hospital from Mar. to Dec. 2018 were divided into observation group and control group via random number table
with 65 cases in each group. All the patients were initial sputum-smear positive and treated with conventional chemotherapy of 2 HRZE/4 HR( H: isoniazid; R: rifampin; Z: pyrazinamide; E: ethambutol)
of which the observation group was given rifampicin capsule( Ⅱ)
while the control group was given rifampicin capsule. Differences in clinical efficacy
negative-conversion rates of sputum bacterium
imageological changes and incidences of adverse drug reactions were compared between two groups. RESULTS: The total effective rate of observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group [93. 85%( 61/54) vs. 78. 46%( 51/65) ]
with statistically significant difference( P < 0. 05). At 2
4 and 6 months after treatment
the negative-conversion rates of sputum bacterium of observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group
with statistically significant difference( P<0. 05). The effective rates of lesion absorption and cavity closure were respectively 86. 15%( 56/65)and 93. 85%( 61/65)
which were significantly higher than those of the control group [64. 62%( 42/65) and78. 46%( 51/65) ]
with statistically significant differences( P < 0. 05). The incidence of adverse drug reactions of observation group was 13. 85%( 9/65)
which was significantly lower than that of the control group( 33. 85%
22/65)
with statistically significant difference( χ2= 7. 159
P = 0. 007). CONCLUSIONS: The efficacy of rifampicin capsule( Ⅱ) in the treatment of tuberculosis is remarkable
which can promote lesion absorption and cavity closure
