Efficacy of Nimodipine Combined with Neuroendoscopic Minimally Invasive Surgery in the Treatment of Hypertensive Cerebral Hemorrhage and its Effect on Serum Homocysteine and Interleukin-1β
OBJECTIVE: To probe into the efficacy of nimodipine combined with neuroendoscopic minimally invasive surgery in the treatment of hypertensive cerebral hemorrhage and its effect on serum homocysteine( Hcy) and interleukin-1β( IL-1β) . METHODS: Totally 92 patients with hypertensive cerebral hemorrhage admitted into Cangzhou People ’s Hospital from Sept. 2015 to Sept. 2017 were selected and divided into operation group and combination group via random number table
with 46 cases in each group. The operation group was treated with neuroendoscopic minimally invasive surgery
while the combination group was treated with nimodipine based on the operation group. The clinical related indices
volume of hematoma
volume of edema
neural function defect score( NFDS)
Hcy and IL-1β levels of both groups were observed
the clinical efficacy and prognosis of 1 year after treatment in the two groups were compared. RESULTS: The duration of operation and hospital stay of combination group were significantly shorter than those of the operation group
the amount of bleeding of combination group were significantly less than that of the operation group
the clearance rate of hematoma of combination group were significantly higher than that of the operation group
with statistically significant differences( P < 0. 05). After treatment
the volume of hematoma
volume of edema
NFDS
Hcy and IL-1β levels of combination group were significantly lower than those of the operation group
with statistically significant differences( P < 0. 05). The total effective rate of combination group was 97. 83%( 45/46)
which was significantly higher than that of the operation group( 82. 61%
38/46)
with statistically significant difference( P < 0. 05). At 1 year after treatment
the combination group had good prognosis; the proportion of patients who recovered well was 84. 78%( 39/46)
which was significantly higher than that of operation group( 54. 35%
25/46)
with statistically significant difference( P <0. 05). CONCLUSIONS: Nimodipine combined with neuroendoscopic minimally invasive surgery can effectively improve the recovery of neurological function and prognosis in patients with hypertensive cerebral hemorrhage
however
due to the limited sample size
it still needs further verified for popularization and application.
