Literature Analysis of Adverse Drug Reactions Induced by Biphenyl Dimethyl Dicarboxylate
OBJECTIVE: To probe into the general regularities and characteristics of adverse drug reactions( ADR) induced by biphenyl dimethyl dicarboxylate
so as to provide reference for clinical rational drug application.METHODS: CNKI
VIP and Wanfang database were retrieved for case reports of ADR induced by biphenyl dimethyl dicarboxylate published on domestic medical journals from base-building to Jun. 2019
the retrieved data were collected and analyzed. RESULTS: A total of 20 case reports of ADR induced by biphenyl dimethyl dicarboxylate were collected
47 effective ADR cases were obtained
including 48 case-times. Among the 31 cases who reported gender and age of patients
the percentage of male patients was higher than that of female patients [83. 87%( 26 cases) vs.16. 13%( 5 cases) ]; most patients were aged > 20 to 50 years( 21 cases
67. 74%); the primary diseases were mainly various types of hepatitis; ADR occurred mainly at >7 ~ 14 d after administration; the ADR involved organs and( or) systems were mainly hepatobiliary system
with the clinical manifestation were mainly aminotransferases rise and jaundice. After drug withdrawl and symptomatic treatment
patient’s prognosis was good and no deaths were reported.CONCLUSIONS: Biphenyl dimethyl dicarboxylate has a wide range of clinical applications and cheap price
but its indications should be strictly controlled during application
and drug monitoring should be strengthened to ensure safe
effective and economical medication.
