Construction of Drug Treatment Management Scheme for Children with Systemic Lupus Erythematosus
OBJECTIVE: To probe into the needs of drug treatment management scheme in children with systemic lupus erythematosus( SLE)
analyze the relevant influencing factors and formulate drug treatment management scheme for different populations. METHODS: Questionnaires were used
a cross-sectional survey was conducted on SLE children and their parents in the department of rheumatic immunology in Beijing Children’s Hospital
Capital Medical University from Jan. to Apr. 2019
with a total of 14 indicators. The awareness and service needs of SLE medication among different age groups was investigated. Logistic regression analysis was conducted on the influencing factors to identify the population in need of refined services. RESULTS: A total of 50 questionnaires were completed
including50 children. The awareness rates of Awareness of Reduction of Glucocorticoids and Usage and Dosage of Hepatoprotective Drugs in the parents were very low
which were 4. 0%( 2/50) and 2. 0%( 1/50)
respectively.Parents from urban areas and those with the bachelor’s degree or above were more aware of most of the indicators than parents from rural areas and those with the high school education or below. A higher percentage of parents from rural areas and those with the high school education or below considered Children Had Difficulty with Medication. Logistic regression analysis results showed that parents from different regions and education levels were the influencing factors of some main indicators. CONCLUSIONS: Individualized drug treatment management scheme with different emphasis should be made for the urban or rural patients
so as to provide targeted drug guidance for SLE children and their parents
promote the medication compliance and reduce the recurrence.
