Compound Radix Arnebiae Decoction on Mice with Psoriasis Induced by Imiquimo
Objective: To probe into the therapeutic effects of compound Radix Arnebiae decoction on mice with psoriasis induced by imiquimod. Methods: Sixty Kunming mice were extracted to be randomly divided into the normal control group
the model control group
compound Radix Arnebiae decoction high-dose
medium-dose and low-dose group and the methotrexate positive control group. After modeling and administration
the psoriasis severity score standard was used to observe the changes of skin lesions in mice with psoriasis. Pathological section method was used to observe the morphological changes of skin lesions. Immunohistochemical method and ELISA method were used to detect the expression of tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) in skin lesions and plasma. Results: Compared with the model group
the symptoms of psoriasis-like lesions were alleviated in the compound Radix Arnebiae decoction group
the disease severity score
epidermal keratinization proliferation and TNF-α expression in lesions and plasma decreased in the compound Radix Arnebiae decoction group. Conclusion: This study indicates that compound Radix Arnebiae decoction can alleviate psoriasis by regulating the expression level of TNF-α.
