Analysis of 184 Cases of Adverse Drug Reactions in Children in a Hospital from 2016 to 2018
Objective: To investigate the regularities and characteristics of adverse drug reaction (ADR) in a children’s hospital
so as to promote the rational drug use in clinic and ensure the safety of drug use in children. Methods: Retrospective method was adopted
a total of 184 ADR reports from 2016 to 2018 were collected for statistical analysis. Results: Among 184 ADR reports
103 cases were males (55.98%) and 81 cases were females (44.02%). The incidence of ADR was the highest in the age group from 1 to 6 years (60.33%). Most ADR was induced by anti-infective drugs (38.18%). The most common clinical manifestations of ADR were skin rash
maculopapular rash and itching (44.71%). Recombinant human growth hormone for injection had reported the most new ADR cases. Severe ADR was mainly manifested as bone marrow suppression induced by anti-tumor drugs. Conclusion: More attention should be paid to the monitoring of ADR for children
