Investigation on effect factors on hysterosalpingography
Objective:To analyze the effect factors on diagnosis with hysterosalpingography in the period of insertion of balloon catheter and injection of imaging reagents and determine preventing methods.Methods:2 308 women for hysterosalpingography with balloon catheter from January 2007 to November 2010 were observed. The results by the influence of different volumes of balloon
the locations and depths of catheter and different volumes of balloon were observed. Results:There was difference between three groups in the proportion of overflow of contrast agent
falling of catheter
artificial abortion syndrome and partial vision of uterus. Some of the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The uterine tubes and the uterine horns of catheter side were not patent in 82.69% cases(640/774) with the top of the catheters in the orifice of uterine tube
of which 71.45% cases(553/774) of uterine horns and 55.17% cases(427/774)of uterine tubes were patent after adjustment. There were 37 and 7 cases in which the catheters were in the uterus cavity and cervix respectively
and the uterus cavities were not patent normally. After adjustment
they were patent well. There were significant differences between the three groups of different speed of injection in the pain of patients and recanalization
but was no difference in lymphatic and venous backflow. Conclusion:In hysterosalpingography
we should choose appropriate volume of balloon
location and depth of catheter and speed of injection to get the best results and prevent complication.
