The study of gastric motility in sub-types of gastroesophageal reflux disease
Objective:To investigate the situation of gastric motility by using bio-electrical impedance method among the subtypes of gastroesophageal reflux disease(GERD).Methods:One hundred and three GERD outpatients were assigned to receive the GerdQ grade;impedance signal and electrical signal were detected and compared with the control group. Then the impedance signal and electrical signal among subtypes of GERD were compared. Results:The GerdQ score in RE was 12.52±8.49;NERD was 15.14±8.01;and BE was 7.20±7.10.The proportion of abnormal gastric motility in subtypes of GERD was higher than that in the control group. The proportion of abnormal gastric motility in RE was higher than in NERD and BE.The percentage of NERD was lower than the percentage of BE in median frequency of gastric impedance
but higher than that of BE in low frequency(P<0.05).There was negative correlation bewteen GerdQ and gastric impedance low frequency in NERD(rs=-0.032).Conclusion:There is abnormal gastric motility in subtype GERD
especially in RE.The reflux symptoms score has correlation with gastric motility in NERD.
