Operative coordination for the arthroscopic repair of the rotator cuff
Objective: To explore the operative coordination for the arthroscopic repair of the rotator cuff. Methods: A total of 67 cases of injury of rotator cuff were involved. Before operation
the necessary surgical equipments and instruments were sent to the operation room
and the physical and mental conditions of patients were carefully evaluated. The patients were carefully nursed during operation. The operation time
satisfactory score of the surgeon and patients
post-operative complications
and VAS score were recorded. Results: The time of operation was 45~125 minutes
averaging 46.2±12.7 minutes. The satisfactory score of the surgeon was 90.3±7.7(total 100).The satisfactory rate of patients was 97%.The 6 months postoperative VAS score was 3.4±1.6.Superficial infection was developed in 2 cases. Conclusion:Careful evaluation of the conditions of patients
maintenance of equipments and instruments
and intra-and post-operative coordination of the nurses and surgeons are the keys to successful arthroscopic operation of rotator cuff injury.
