Risk factors of peritoneal recurrence after curative resection of advanced gastric cancer
Objective:To evaluate the risk factors of peritoneal recurrence after curative resection of advanced gastric cancer.Methods:A total of 471 patients with advanced gastric cancer in our hospital who have curative resection were enrolled in this study by a retrospective analysis.After five years postoperative follow-up
Logistic regression were used for analysis the factors of peritoneal recurrence.Results:471 patients were followed up for five years
419 patients with complete data(88.9%).There were 153 patients had peritoneal recurrence(36.5%).At 2 years
115 patients had recurrence(75.2%);at 3 years
142 patients had recurrence(92.8%).Logistic regression analysis showed that:depth of tumor invasion(P = 0.017
OR= 3.077)
early postoperative intraperitoneal chemotherapy(P=8.012
OR=3.056) were independent risk factors of peritoneal recurrence for gastric cancer after radical gastrectomy.Conclusion:The depth of invasion
early postoperative intraperitoneal chemotherapy were independent risk factors of peritoneal recurrence for gastric cancer after radical gastrectomy.
