Establishment of hepatocarcinoma rat modelinduced by diethylmitrosamine discontinuously and pathological study
Objective:To establish hepatocarcinomas rat model by DEN-induced and investigate the pathologic and morphologic changes during hepatocarcinogenesis
and this model was similar to the development of human hepatocellular carcinomas.Methods:sixty-three male spraque-dawley(SD)rats
weighing 170 to 200g were randomly devided into experimental group(48)and control group(15).The intermission in 0.01% DEN was adminstrated to rats and a series histopathology research was employed the hepatic lesions in induced hepatocarcinomas model model.Results:36 rat hepatocellular carcinomas models were successfully induced by the intermisson in DEN through morphologic investigation. The procession of hepatocarcinogenesis in this model included three stages:hepatic toxic lesion
hepatic proliferation/cirrhosis and hepatic carcinogenesis. Conclusion:This improved model was successful and easy
the rate of induced hepatocarcinoma was high and the mortality was low.the hepatocarcinoma model may be an ideal experimental animal model for the clinical medicine study of human hepatocarcinoma.
