Analysis on factors interfering the agitation of patients with partial hepatectomy during recovery from general anesthesia
Objective:To analyze the factors interfering the agitaion of patients with partial hepatectomy during recovery from general anesthesia. Methods:To analyze retrospectively the material about 93 cases of patients with partial hepatectomy
aged 54.01±11.86
weighted(59.21±9.25) kg and graded ASAⅠ~Ⅱ grade in our hospital from January to December in 2009.Patients were divided into two groups according to Riker sedation-restlessness grade.Binary logistic regression was used in analyzing factors interfering the agitaion of patients with partial hepatectomy during recovery from general anesthesia
including general condition of patients
preoperative complications
special circumstance during operative
anesthesia time
the amount of fluid intake and output
blood gas analysis in PACU
postoperative analgesia
preoperative and postoperative albumin
total bilirubin
alanine aminotransferase(ALT) and aspartate aminotransferase(AST) changes and so on.Results:The incidence of emergence agitation in patients with partial hepatectomy was 21.51%.The main factors interfering the agitaion of patients with partial hepatectomy during recovery from general anesthesia were the platelet level before surgery
ASTlevels after surgery
post-operative albumin and ALT levels
carbon dioxide partial pressure of arterial blood and post-operative analgesia. Conclusion:Emergence agitation in patients with partial hepatectomy during recovery from general anesthesia was interfered by many factors
mainly including changes of perioperative liver function
carbon dioxide partial pressure of arterial blood and postoperative analgesia and so on.
