The consequent comparison of two types of hematoxylin in followed-staining of immunohistochemistry
Objective:To compare the consequence ofimmunohistochemistrywith Mayer hematoxylin and Harris hematoxylin followed-staining
and to improve the quality of immunohistochemistry staining. Methods:Two types of hematoxylin were used with the same methodin immunohistochemistry of cardiac muscle and brain
and the results:of followed-staining were compared. Results:The cytoblast withMayer hematoxylin follow-staining was dark blue
but the cytoplasm and the background were not stained
and the difference betweencytoplasm and cytoblast was clear. Conclusion:Mayer hematoxylin followed-staining has better Results than Harris hematoxylin inimmunohistochemistry.
