Assessment the left ventricular systolic function of long-axis direction in patients with chronic heart failure using tissue doppler imaging
Objective:To assess the left ventricular(LV)systolic function of long-axis direction in patients with chronic heart failure using quantitative tissue Doppler imaging.Methods:22 healthy subjects and 25 patients with chronic heart failure were studied by QTVI and TTI
peak velocities of LV regional myocardium during systole(Vs)
and peak systolic displacements(Ds)were measured.Results:①Vs and Ds of LV segments in patients with chronic heart failure were significantly lower than those in healthy subjects.②after 6 months treatment
Vs and Ds of LV segments in patients with endocardial fibroelastosis were significantly recovery.③mean Vs and Ds at the mitral annulus level correlated significantly with LVEF.Conclusion:QTVI and TTI can assess LV systolic function of long-axis direction in patients with chronic heart failure
can more entirely and sensitive assess the systolic function
