Clinical research of glycometabolism feature of 9528 health examination people in Chongqing
Objective:To investigate the blood sugar level of health examination people in Chongqing
and glyeometabolism ab- normality state and explore
the influencing factors. Methods:According to the patient history and fasting blood glucose
these 9528 individuals were divided into three groups as follows:including normal glucose tolerance(NGT)
impaired fasting blood glucose(IFG)
diabetes mellitus(DM)
based on the diagnosis standard by WHO in 2003.Then to compare the state of gly- cometabolism in different age and gender and analyze the incident rate of glycometabolism abnormality. The factors of glycometabolism disorders
including gender
age
BMI
blood press(BP)and lipid metabolism
were selected by multifactor Logistic regression. Results:In 9528 health examination people
there were 8271 people glycometabolism normal and the rate was(86.81%)
IFG group was 943 individuals and the rate was(9.89%)and DM group was 314 individuals and the rate was (3.30%).Compared men with women
glyeometsbolism disorders rate in men were higher evidently than in women. Moreover
blood-fasting sugar level paragenesis were significantly increased with the age(P<0.0001).Four indexes of lipid metabolism dis- order is more frequently to see in DM than in NGT
furthermore
the incidence rate of high TG
high TC were higher in IFG than in NGT.The results of multifactor Logistic regression showed that gender
age
BMI
BP and blood lipid affected significant- ly to glycometabolism disorders in Chongqing; Conclusion:The incidence rate of glycometabolism disorders is high in Chongqing.Lipid metabolism disorder is more frequently to see in IFG and DM than in NGT.So enhancing periodic physical examination for population and controlling the correlation factors
for instance
obesity
hypertension and lipid metabolism dis- orders are the best way to prevent and treat glycometabolism disorders disease.
