The diagnostic value of microalbuminuria in early diabetic nephropathy
Objective:To study the significance of microalbuminuria in the diagnosis of early diabetic nephropathy.Methods:24 hour urine α 1-microglobulin(α 1-MG)
urine immunoglobulin G(IgG)
urine microalbumin (MA) and urine transferrin(TRF) in 65 diabetic patients and 50 normals were detected by rate immunonephelometery method. Results: The urine MA in 65 diabetic patients was significantly higher than that in 50 healthy persons ( P <O. O1)
and the other three proteins were obviously higher too ( P <O. O1).Conclusion: The urine MA is a good index of the early kidney injury in diabetic patients. The combined detection of urine MA
α 1-MG
IgG and TRF can improve the early diagnosis of diabetic nephropathy
and these indexes have important value in therapy.
