The relationship between the pregnancy rate and the estrogen level per ovum on the day of the human chorionic gonadotrophin administration in controlled ovarian hyperstimulation cycle
Objective:To assess the role of the estrogen level per ovum in the clinical pregnancy rate in IVF-ET.Methods:Serum estrogen levels on the day of the HCG(human chorionic gonadotrophin)administration were assayed by EIA(Magnetic Solid Phase). Results:When the estrogen level per ovum was 70~140 pg/ml on the day of HCG administration
the pregnancy rate was the highest. Conclusion:The estrogen-oocyte ratio is a strong index of success pregnancy rate in IVF-ET.
