Rapid amplification of the ends of cDNA fragment from an unknown KL gene
Objective:To do the full - length cloning of the cDNA fragment of an unknown KL gene in leukemia K562 cell for study of its structure and function. Methods : The ends of the cDNA fragment of the unknown KL gene were amplified using three strategies of RACE. Results: 5’ - end of the cDNA fragment of the unknown KL gene was extended 156 base pairs by Labon Web instance RACE online and 3’ - end was extended 350 base pairs by traditional 3’ - RACE. Conclusion : It suggests that the full length of the cDNA of the unknown KL gene in leukemia K562 cell is approximately composed of one kilo- base by RACE. It is helpful to full -length cloning of the unknown gene
