Evaluation for destructive effects of various disinfectants on antigenicity of HBsAg
This is a study on destructible effects of various disinfectants on the antigenicity of HBsAg. The destructive effects of various disinfectants on the antigenicity of HBsAg were determined by ELISA.Serum HBsAg and purified HbsAg of antigenicity from patient were been destroyed by "YI XIAO JIN" and peracetic acid.HBsAg in 1: 100 diluted patients serum and purified HBsAg were destroyed by chlorine compound disinfectants (such as Guo Guang) and tinctUra iodi
while HBsAg in serum was not because the disinfectants were markedly influenced by organic compounds in serum. Both HBsAg in serum and the purified were not completely destroyed by lysol
bromo geraminum and ethyl alcohol (s/n>2.1).Our data suggests that lysol
bromo geraminum and ethanol should not be applied in hospitals for controlling nosocomical infection of HBV.
