JIANG Hai-yan, et al. Serum, TNF-α level in Grave’s disease patient. [J]. Journal of Chongqing Medical University (1):47-49(2000) DOI: 10.13406/j.cnki.cyxb.2000.01.016.
Serum TNF- α level in 45 GD Patients and 100 cases of control were studied. The results showed that the TNF- α level in GD patients was significantly higher (P<0.01)than in the controls and correlated to the course of the disease & the mass of the thyroid
but not to FT3
FT4
TGAB
TMAB levels and thyroid absorption rate of 131I. There was no difference TNF-α levels of GD patients before and after131I treatment. As well the TNF- α level did not affect treafment effectivebess. The cesults indicat that the level of TNF- α in GD is elevated.Furthermore "func nonal moderation" and "immuno moderation" are not synchronous.TNF- α does not affect the iodine absorption and sensitivity in patients.
