THE USE OF IRMA IN THE DETERMINATION OF SERUM IgE IN NASAL ALLERGY PATIENTS
Serum IgE levels were examined by using I RMA in 200patients with nasal allergy. The results were compared with those of clinical studies of nasal allergy. The results demonstrated thet a decrease in serum IgE levels is in accordance with aging. The patients with seasonal allergy showed the lower levels of serum IgE than those with nonseasonal ones.IRMA is designed for the measurement of total IgE in serum
but allergy-specific IgE in serum is more important in diagnosing allergy than total IgE
