摘要

取上海出土100具成年男性下颌骨

对颏孔位置与周围结构关系进行观测

并将结果与其它作者的资料进行了比较

讨论了颏孔解剖位置的确定及在牙科临床应用上的意义

Abstract

One hundred mandibles of adult Chinese male unearthed in Shanghai without missing teeth

alveolar bone resorption or/and malposition of teeth were studied. Our data showed that the location of the mental foramen below the apex of the lower second premolar was the most common. Our results were compared with those of other investigators. The Clinical significance of iden.tifying the anatomical location of the mental foramen in dental practice is discussed
