AN ENZYME HISTOCHEMICAL STUDY OF THE TRANSPLANTABLE HEPATOMA OF INBRED 615 MICE. [J]. Journal of Chongqing Medical University (4):247-250(1988) DOI: 10.13406/j.cnki.cyxb.1988.04.001.
AN ENZYME HISTOCHEMICAL STUDY OF THE TRANSPLANTABLE HEPATOMA OF INBRED 615 MICE
The metabolic characteristics of a transplantable hepatoma of inbred 615 mice(H615) was studied with 26 kinds of enzyme histcohemical methods. As compared with the normal mouse liver
it showed that the glycogen content was absent
the activity of ppr
SDH
ICDH
G-6-Pase
GPD
GDH and CCO was lowered
and the activity of HGK
PGI
LDH
G6PD
β-OH BD
NADPHD
NAE
γ-GT
ACP
β-GA
β-Gr
5’-N
and LAP was elevated. There were no changes in the enzyme activity of GPM
MDH
NADHD
ANAE
ATPase
and AKP. These results indicate that in the tumor tissue the synthesis of glycogen is decreased
the catabolism of glucose is enhanced with a preponderance in anaerobic glycolysis and a reduction in tricarboxylic acid cycle and oxidative phosphorylation. The gluconeegenems is also decreased
but the pentose pathway for nucleic acid synthesis is increased. It is accompanied by an increased transmembranous absorption of amino acids
hyperfuaction of intracellular lysozymes and the reappearance of a hepatocarcinoma marker γ-glutamyltranspeptidase. These changes are in accordance with the transformation of hepatic cells into hepatocarcinoma cells
