THE CLINICAL SIGNIFICANCE OF FACTOR VIII COMPLEX IN PATIENTS WITH CHRONIC LIVER DISEASE. [J]. Journal of Chongqing Medical University (1):4-8(1987) DOI: 10.13406/j.cnki.cyxb.1987.01.003.
THE CLINICAL SIGNIFICANCE OF FACTOR VIII COMPLEX IN PATIENTS WITH CHRONIC LIVER DISEASE
and the Von tyillebrand factor (VIIIR:WF or VIIIR-.RCoF) were measured in 110 patients with chronic liver disease (67 cases of liver cirrhosis
27 cases of chronic hepatitis
7 cases of hepatic carcinoma and 9 cases of obstructive jaundice caused by choledocholithiasis with infection). In all groups of patients the mean levels of VIII:C
VIIIR:Ag and VIIIR:WF were significantly increased as compared with the -mean value obtained in normal subjects (p<0.05 -0.001)
and there was a high degree of correlation between the three variables and the severity of the disease. VIIIR:Ag could be used as a reference index between decompensation and compensation in patients with cirrhosis
and VIIIR:Ag and VIIIR-.WF reflected the degree of endothelial damage of blood vessels. The mechanism of abnormalities of three variables in patients with chronic liver disease was briefly discussed
